A recap of the weekend

The weekends passed, i am so glad that i've completed my internal assessments for the semester and now all i had to do is to focus on my finals.

After two tests and one assignment due last week, i figured why not have some fun!~ And obviously i did anything and everything but studying this weekend :P

Friday, was supposed to be an off day for me, but unfortunately, the A.F.A test was in the evening, so that day i did nothing but preparing for that test. GOSH!~ the suspense for that test was terrible. Everybody around me was studying for this test. Even though it is a Multiple Choice Question test, EACH OF THE QUESTION contributed to 1 Mark in the final...so it's pretty scary and from the pass semesters, it has gotten pretty low passing rates.

Overall, that subject is not too bad comparing to Company Reporting. The only reason why that everybody is afraid of messing this subject is, ( i truely believe) the face to face confrontation with the tutor and the lecturer. The well known, David Tam and Dr. Dot for this subject has been nothing but truely dedicated in making sure this subject comes accross clear and thorough.

As this subject requires students to be on their toes all the time, they just decided to give hell to their students. I don't deny that in class i do get scared of my tutor. His expectations are so high that i don't know where the limit is. Sigh~

Well, the test is over, life moves on. :P

Then, it came saturday, I dated my dear friend :P FANG FANG~~ the whole day to get a gift for Shu Yunn which announces ( HER BIRTHDAY IS TMR!!~~) Aimlessly walking on the streets of Melbourne was rather tiring, and i believe we've gotten her an unforgettable gift and i'm glad we did it :P (hint hint~ coughs coughs) * DAMN COOL * lolz

Then later, dinner at night with my brother and Nick, had Japanese food. mmm... dinner was not much of a big deal.. It was a so-so dinner only and i don't think there would be a second visit to that restaurant ..lolz... After dinner, we dropped by at Sze's place to get the cake tray and box from her and ended up watching "A Walk to Remember" at her place before heading back home. Saturday was so packed that i came home and slept almost immediately.. knowing there was another early day next =)

Sunday... woke up in the morning.. decided to do a little bit of cleaning (not that it made a difference) but i managed to throw two bags of rubbish.. hahaha.. An appointment was made at 10 to bake a cake for dearie ShuYunn but Fang Fang overslept..lolz....

So i decided to start myself.. then along she came =) bringing me cream cheese for my cake filling....

The process of baking was alright (because it was a pre-mix cake, no biggie anyway) but the process of preparing it's filling was hillarious... I believe Fang Fang has not been so gentle before :P *laughs* We decided to use strawberries, peaches and kiwis for the cake, so we had to slice all of them thinly and make sure that they are all uniformed. HAHAHAHA~~~ because Fang Fang has not sliced fruits like this before, she ended up squishing a few flat :P *farnie*

but no doubt that she did a great job after telling her tons of times to be gentle ...lolz though she sweared she was not going to touch those fruits that day as she felt sick looking at them..lolz

While i was busy preparing the Cream Cheese filling for the cake, she was busy cutting the fruits.. we did manage to find time to snap some shots.. then we realised our cake mounted up and had a small peak..*swts*

We then decorated the cake after it cooled... i had to cut of the peak otherwise it would've looked like a mushroom cake...hahahaha.. and after shortly removing the peak.. it was swallowed by two cake monsters (Lern and Fang).. The decoration started as Fang couldn't help me because it was too fragile, she decided to cook lunch. She then went out to get some grocerries and came back with nothing but a can of luncheon meat. ( but she did made a simple but great meal) =) *thank you*

While she was busy cooking up a meal, i was busy putting almond slices at the side of the cake.. boy was it an experience.. hehe but all good fun...

... Proceeding to Sunday night's dinner... was Shu yunn celebrating her birthday in advance.. We had an awesome time getting a little tipsy by the wine and great korean food.. i will post those pictures up as soon as i get them =) ..
