~Little~Thoughts~: Happy Mother's Day!~

It's mother's day today, fang and i have joined the Mother's Day Classic walkathon for the first time in Melbourne.

Being all excited about it the previous night, but we both still end up oversleep this morning.. and no worries, we still managed to get there on time and joined the walkathon.

We were first following the crowd and didn't know it was bringing us to the starting line. so we sort of started walking as soon as we arrived. it was all good and it was so heart warming when u see families with pram and disabled people walking on this day just to raise funds to support for breast cancer. furthermore, you see those tags that are clipped behind them mentioning who are they walking for. IT is so sad that breast cancer actually takes precious lives away from families and it is so heart wrenching that there is no cure to this sickness.

Hopefully the every little contribution that was made today can help bring us closer to the cure of cancer =)

the beautiful scenery during the walk.. this was taken during the second lap. where there werew already less people... after the walk, we took a picture of our uniform and our numbers, our uniforms this year is yellow!~ diffrernt from previous marathons as Team Monash is celebrating Monash University 5oth year birthday =)

Contented with ourselves for our first attempt to complete 8km eventhough we only walked but personally, we were proud of being apart of this meaningful event. Most of all, Monash university was the only university that were there supporting this event..

Even though this is an old picture of mother's day celebrated 2 years ago.. but i want to take this special day to wish every mommy everywhere.. HAPPY MOMMY'S DAYEspecially to my mum - happy mother's day!~ to my grandmothers - happy grandmommy day!
