Tulip Festival 2008

every year since i've been in Aussieland, i've nvr fail to visit the tulip farm.. but this year, it's a little different.. i think all in all there were 20 of us.. so the cam-whore sessions was.. OMG.. see for yourself.. so i shall let the pictures do the talking ok =)

Spring Elegance Ball & Afterparty 2008

i know it's a little later after the ball to post some pictures... but it's not too late to enjoy good photos right :P until now i still can't stop looking at some of the pictures..

This ball is the first formal event that i've attended since i got here, boy was it memorable.. the dress up sessions up to the ball and afterparty.. it was nothing but enjoyable..

That night, it was very regretful that we didn't get there earlier due to the difficulty of getting a maxi cab. it would've been much better to have plenty of photo sessions before hand.

Us at table 6 was having a fun time just catching up and having dinner.. it was all good. Everybody looked glamed up and awesome that night, it was a night to remember.

=( i forgot to take a full head to toe picture of myself after puting so much effort dressing up.. bleh.. it's ok =) i still had a great time

not forgeting we finally met ben's girlfriend for the first time.. Ben i'm very happy for you!~

After the ball, we head to the after party.. was awesome fun man..

something worth mentioning, other than us were all high and happily dancing the night away.. Mr. Yow keat!~ seriously, a bundle of joy and fun.. he's living proof that you dont have to drink to have fun clubbing and also dance.. we had an awesome nite, enjoyed each other's company. hopefully there would be more to come to add to the glam moments of all of us =)

after a while, finally met up with jonathan and also ben to attend jia, hong ying and wendy's graduation.. rushed there just to take a few photos. unfortunately dont have them with me yet.

but we managed to take a few of our own after before i left back for the city that afternoon

therefore is going crazy for joy now =)

and i shall catch up with all the sleeps and lost hair.. this was definitely one-hell-of-a- week

It's time.....

for a little update !~

It is mid-autumn festival and it's been a while since we're really celebrated and have fun together .. sure brings back old memories where we play with candles and lanterns back home, and dirty the place with wax.. then the next day got to scrub it off ..=)

This year, Hong Chye kor and Vyanne planned a family gathering, with loads of yummy food and all the couzies for this festival..

We arrived early, so seing wan and i was helping to make curry puffs!~ yummmy stuff.. and i was caught in the act! :P

SOOOOOOoooooooOO not easy to do .. i make ugly puffs..

Seing wan makes pretty curry puffs .. hehe.. hmm lern was actually frying the puffs.. but no picture..

and on the other side, was the Tan family lighting up the lanterns and setting the backyard before the party started..

Then came the Lim family... with loads of food =)

yummy mee hoon.. am so deprived with authentic m'sian food.. very very very much like home yesterday.. filled with family, home cook food..home made moon cake agar agar by vyanne.. so nice!~after dinner, we were all having so much fun just chit chatting then we decided to go for a walk.. ate so much food we could literally roll..

therefore, we went onto the streets of melbourne, the bunch of us.. with lanterns!~ i guess this is one of the craziest things i've done in melbourne so far..
