i'm so caffeinated, wanted to get some work done.. but no matter how much i tried.. it seemed the same .. bleh.. i was staring at my work for solid 2 hours plus.. it still seem i didn't do much.. my eyes are going to go @@

So therefore i came here and left a note :P

03.09.08 Part 2

The day before my birthday, we spent the whole day outside, just walking on the streets of melbourne, although it was a little aimless, but it's good to spend some quality time with dearie since he was going back to sydney the next day..

Of course, not forgetting to make a stop at Koko Black's =)

Funny facesDinner time at tian fu..both of us obviously didnt' finish that amount of food.. we had it for lunch today as well :PMy birthday dinner with baby~Our biggest bargain that night.. 3 large containers of strawberries for AUD10.. even safeway and coles don't offer that price :P

That night, dearie made me a cake =) Even though, he kept saying that it's instant cake, but the effort and his first attempt to bake was for my 22nd birthday.. it's enough to make me melt :P

And when the clock strike 12.. 2 crazy confetti went off at me by shock again while i was searching for the lighter..
Thanks to my bro and his bright ideas, i had to blow all the candles at one breath otherwise they'll lit it up again.. bah~ then later on got compromised to two breaths .. i still had to blow 3 times before i got it all ..chef and i =)baby hand made a mini photo album =) love love love

03.09.08 Part 1 (Surprises)

This year's birthday came very early for me.. as you can see i'm blogging on this day itself.. =)

this year's celebration was very different from the previous celebration.. i didn't plan anything upfront, so it has all been sweet surprises by sweet friends and family..

Surprise no.1.. Owee's place..

On Saturday, Dearie arrived in the morning, as he didn't sleep the night before due to his work and flight, we spent half the day at home, so that he could catch up with some sleep.. thereafter, my brother and seing wan was hungry and wanted to head to the city for lunch. So we then went for lunch that is so filling that it is possible to even skip dinner..

Roughly about an hour or two later, my bf said he wanted to have something at Glen Waverly which was all the way at the other end of the train line.. and it was going to rain, for the first time he was being unreasonable and he insisted that he wanted something (also reinforcing the weather is good despite raining ) and dropping by at owee's place..so obviously i gave him a hard time.. and it finally hit me that something was fishy..

then.. it was this.. SURPRISE~~~ Owee cooked up a storm for all of us.. (cuz i complained i never tried her cooking before :P)

Makan time~

Surprise no.2

On Sunday, we went to the city for lunch

My brother and his antiques.. makes ppl just roll on the floor and laugh.. after that we dropped by at the Fiesta to see what is going on there for M'sian's independence day..

thereafter, we went to the beach as he suggested early in the morning.. we just spent time walking on the beach.. it was awesome, because there was a short rain.. we actually saw two rainbows at the same time and it was the clearest rainbow that i ever seen..

notice carefully, u'll see two rainbows..one of them was so clear that we could tell the colours apart clearly.. ( i know this will be a long post, so i'll cut short on those outtings for later posts =) )

thereafter, as we were about to head back to the city to grab a drink before going back, my bro told me to "NOT DRINK SO MUCH " cuz he's cooking for dinner.. and he told me to buy some groceries back for him so he could cook..

We didn't linger in the city for too long then, head home.. feeling hungry, i told lern.. "quickly cook, i'm starving" as i opened my room door.. and crazy confetti was bursting out of my room.. i've gotten the shock of my life..and as i calmed down, i realised there was a bunch of ppl walking out of my room.. "SURPRISE!!!"aLL MY COUZZIES came to surprise me .. love this family photo..

i would have to give credits to my dear brother, he organised this all in one night, and it was so unexpected i fell for every thing that went on that day.. THANK YOU LERN!~ *HUGZ*

he didn't cook dinner btw, it was pot luck, everybody brought something..

First pay

Today is the 4th shift i've had since i got my part time job. I've also gotten my first pay today. Although it's nothing compared to any other jobs that pays much higher, i've only gotten about AUD116 for the hours i've worked so far. But it feels good to be able to accept your first pay through effort.

My day today was the usual mondays i've had so far. But it was good to meet up with hong ying and owee after that to just catch up. We've been out for hours sitting at the same spot just chatting. It's been a while since we're pretty much occupied with our own schedules.

My days lately are not exactly sunny and bright all the time but to the very least, it is picking itself up now =)

Quoting my mum. Let's hope the sun shines brightly and shall not rain otherwise there's no way i'll be able to survive on my own here.
